" Sirens of the Ditch", Jason Isbell's debut record, also from Chase Park Transductions and by Dave Barbe, debuts today as well. In other news for the band, guitar hero Nic Goodson of the Sleepy Horses has signed on to play a few shows with our boys. He'll be joining Hank Vegas at the Star Community Bar on Wednesday the 18, as well as helping out at the hometown Bragg Jam on July 28. Adam Smith (Drive-by Truckers, R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough,Lucero, Marty Stuart, Porter Wagoner) has delivered some great new press photos for the band, shot in and around Athens, Ga in early May. The photo phenom has also taken a liking to the new record as well, helping with management, publicity, bar tabs, and overall confusion, so thanks Adam. |
